Dinner date

Nemu kita?  The last time we had an anniversary dinner date was when my eldest son was still a toddler; can't remember his age.  Maya restaurant Thai at Dynasty Hotel nya agi famous menya.

Nyaaa........nyau kelalu busy with other commitments, nyau nadai time for ourselves.  Years come...years go by....just like that.

Anang bekenya kita ke dudi.  Cherish your special moments together.  Make time for each other, enggai ke orang bukai yang ambik kesempatan pula...

Menoa tu ba Piasau dia. The tokayneo bisi operate canteen ba upis mama tupai, that's how we landed here.

Naka ya pengenyang.  Pulai ke rumah, dah berus gigi, alu mejam ke mata, ni dah betambah mumuk....

26 years ago...

26 years ago on 2nd of March, Mama and Papa Tupai were united in holy matrimony at St Columbas church, Miri.  It was solemnized by Reverend John Leong.

How was the journey?

The road was not always smooth.  Sometimes we drive on good, tarred road.  Sometimes its on gravel, sandy and uphill/downhill road.

What have I learnt?

Mamatupai used to be the 'hot' type, while papatupai manage to remain cool most of the time.  Mamatupai used to be the one who started the fire and who doesn't forgive easily.  I can say that Papatupai is a 'nelap' person cause he was able to bear with the 'hot' mamatupai through the years. (When I think back, kesian papatupai.  he..he.)

Now Mamatupai has mellowed and became more patient.  How?  Because we have invited God to be in the centre of our lives, and God taught me a lot of things including gratefulness.  Its true; The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

I am grateful and thankful for my soul mate, the first and last.
