I believe everyone is busy cooking up a storm, pansoh manok, pansoh pulut being the number 1 compulsory dish.  This year EtE's family tukar selera; making pulut kelupis instead.

Anyway, on this day, 20 years ago, di saat saat orang sibuk besedia, EtE pun sibuk besedia ka beranak.  Anak sulung gitu.  Benung berempas pulas ngetat ke labour pains.  Because it was 1st time, asai ka parai belama meh diak, eventhough nyedut gas to reduce the pain.  Still can feel the pain wai, might as well don't use the gas.  Hehe..EtE's body resistance is so strong, I guess.

Finally at 3.30pm, the baby came out with the help of forceps.  Urghhh.....kasih meda bekas forcep on his forehead...and he weighed 4.1kg!!  Can you imagine that?  First time and so big.   When the ordeal was over, I promised myself, that would be the 1st and the last.  Oh ya?  How come I have 4 now?  No speak me.

Well. EtE was discharged on Gawai day, sempat magi penganan to niang Dr Chin and his staff.  I still remember his words to this day, while he was sewing my 'tear'.  "We doctors cannot drink much, if drunken, susah".  Sinu ngenang ya.  May he rest in peace.

Back home, orang besuka ria ngabang, eating and making merry, EtE ngetat ke 'pedis bekau' and the confinement rules; restricted to ginger and kacang ma.  Fortunately I love to eat those till now.

A tribute to Mothers

The month of May is chosen to remember Mothers.  Could be because it started with the letter M for Mothers as well. (hehehe...according to my theory lah).

When EtE was a young girl, my number one enemy was my mother.  Enda sama pala.  Only when you become a mother yourself, then you realise how tough a mother's life is and does not wonder when your own daughter starts to behave like you are her enemy as well.

Ah!..well, will try not to let that happen.  No matter what happens, a mother's love will never die.  That's why, there's a saying "Suami/Isteri boleh dicari, Ibu hanya seorang sahaja" something like that.

To show my appreciation to my two mothers, (MM and Ibu Kandung) I treated them to a Mother's Day dinner organised by St Columbas Church at Dynasty Hotel on sunday, 15 May.  How about EtE?  Well..... EtE bayar dinner sendiri lah.  heeeeeeeeeeee....

Datai ba Adan

Dalam semua pengawa di kerja kitai mensia, sigi bisi target, bisi adan munyi ko Iban.  Dalam belajar pen kitai sigi bisi adan di tuju.

Weekend tu tadi 6 May 2011, bala nembiak ke udah berempas pulas belajar, test and passed have finally reached their adan.  For some its a transit, meaning agi bisi adan ka di tuju. Ka sambung belajar meh nya.  For others its the final destination laban ka nguji ke working world.

Has.........apai....lelak EtE beceloteh pasal hal adan adan tu,  nya......peda dia gambar ke sempat di senip EtE maya function tu tadi ba Eastwood Valley.

Endu Tupai di asoh inchas Academic Procession. (every year..boring!), laban ke ari HR and ngelala semua stap di unibersity tu, tek keno. (Tapi sigi amat, laban sida sigi mansa aku dulu, sebedau tama kerja kitu. hehehe..)

Tu ya team Endu Tupai.  Nganti jam ke cukup.  Nya...enda nyelai dress code kami ko kita?

Malik ke kiba, meda tu.  Nasit nadai cukup usen, enti enda sigi palau mensia, ni ka nyadi kerja.

Perengka kena ngadu ke regalia ke dikena sida academic.  Macam utai dalam nya.  Penyepit bisi meh.  So aku suggest, ni bagi sida Cigu ke mulut murai, alu sepit ngau nya mulut.  hahahaha..

Pertandingan handbag sapa paling mit.  Nya aja di bai EtE.  Enda alah mincing bag besai, nadai endur nyimpan lege.

  Nadai jalai ka tesat, map dah disedia ke magang, engka meh enda nemu maca.

Sebedau kerja, makai dulu.  Dress code kami sari nya, all black; asai ke attend funeral pula.  EtE siko aja ngena white blouse; buss deh!  ehehehe....

Nasit bisi diberi makai sebedau pulai.  Semua guest/students/parent/stap meh sangkong magang.  Dua round EtE makai Laksa.

Akai.........cukup lelak and kenyang EtE malam nya, nyau demam asai.  Pengawa tu sigi diatur tiap tiap taun.  Ni alah kenggai.
