As mentioned in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life" That's the reason for the cruxifixion.
And while we waited for the day the Lord Jesus will come again, we can run our race in grace towards the day of the kingdom of God, because through Jesus's death, he has conquered death and has fulfilled the Law.
Thank You Father for this free gift of salvation.
