Our Beloved COO

James joined the university as Chief Operating Officer in 2009.  Last October 2011, he decided to resign and do nothing for a while (that's what he said) and went back to his hometown in KL.

During his tenure with us, he has done a lot of things that needed to be done and have been respected and liked by a lot of staff including me.

I find him to be a very understanding, approachable, generous and kind hearted person. He even supported our weekly Friday prayer meetings by attending and leading the praise and worship. That's why I was so sad to learn of his leaving.  But then life has to go on.

Today, his replacement has reported for duty.  Of course, there will not be another James, but I hope this new person will continue the spirit of being understanding, approachable, generous and kind hearted.

A little souvenir for James & his wife Melissa.

Receiving a souvenir from Curtin.

Farewell dinner by the Friday fellowship group.

James's wife, Melissa.  She is very friendly and down to earth.

James and Melissa, you will be missed dearly.
